PRESIDENT OF THE AMERICAN POLICY CENTER

Tom DeWeese is one of the nation’s leading advocates of individual liberty, free enterprise, private property rights, personal privacy, back-to-basics education and American sovereignty and independence.

A native of Ohio, he’s been a candidate for the Ohio Legislature, served as editor of two newspapers, and has owned several businesses since the age of 23. In 1989 Tom led the only privately-funded election-observation team to the Panamanian elections. In 2006 Tom was invited to Cambridge University to debate the issue of the United Nations before the Cambridge Union, a 200 year old debating society. Today he serves as Founder and President of the American Policy Center and editor of The DeWeese Report.

For 40 years Tom DeWeese has been a businessman, grassroots activist, writer and publisher. As such, he has always advocated a firm belief in man’s need to keep moving forward while protecting our Constitutionally-guaranteed rights.

The Platform

Find Out More

Caddo Lake’s Last Stand was created by Citizens Against the Caddo Lake National Heritage Area to help inform Louisiana and Texas residents about how the heritage area will negatively impact the way we hunt, fish, live and make a living in the Caddo Lake area. If you do not use or live on the lake it still impacts your property, if you live within the boundaries. The CLNHA’s current boundaries range from Plain Dealing to Dixie-Blanchard, as well as halfway between Jefferson and Linden.

The question we we must ask is:

Why would Texas Representative Gohmert and Louisiana Senator Cassidy create legislation that favors wealthy environmental extremists, while denying their constituents even the basic knowledge that this legislation exists?

United By A Common Goal

As citizens who understand the value of our current heritage, our goal is to preserve your liberty and freedom to hunt, fish, live and work without additional governmental management. Help us help you.

Get Involved

We can’t overrule this legislation without your help. Contacting your representative and senator and word-of-mouth are ways of helping us achieve our goals together.
